The Practices & Why
I love to guide physical practices that bring attention to how it feels to move, rather than how it looks. Meditation & breath practices help guide us back to the quiet stillness within.
Mindfulness teaches us to be present, with kindness and care.

_________________________________We’ll begin on our mats arriving together—gathering ourselves and settling into the space—then move into guided mindfulness meditation, an intentional yoga practice with breath, deep rest, and a closing meditation.
Our world is moving fast, and modern life is designed to distract us and pull us into forward momentum. Mindfulness reminds us that we can choose where we place our attention—and that choice shapes our steadiness, clarity, and calm. As we breathe and move, we’ll practice listening to the body, mind, and heart, learning what it means to be awake in the moment. Again and again, we practice returning.
One of my teachers offered this: “A gathered and settled body-mind creates the conditions for kindness, compassion, and equanimity to naturally arise. In many ways, this is a radical path of reclaiming attention."
Tiered pricing available: $25-$50, choose the rate the works for you at checkout.
Net proceeds from this and all Yogabliss events go to Sinchana, our sponsored student at the Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project in Tamil Nadu, India.

Group Meditation Classes
Mindfulness meditation offers a path back to ourselves, our bodies and the present moment. Modern life tends to lure us into the busy thinking mind in a constant rush forward and we can lose touch with ourselves. Mindfulness meditation reminds us it is okay to slow down & breathe . . . that the beauty & joy we seek is right here in this moment of our life. We learn to be more balanced, resilient and steady no matter what life serves up. Mindfulness helps us to return to the innate wisdom within.

Group Yoga & Movement
My group practices are thoughtfully sequenced offering space to explore, learn and listen to your own body. We work with strength, flexibility, balance, & functional mobility into each practice. The intention is to help us wake up to the beauty and the capacity of our bodies, honoring our own limitations and possibilities. We put the breath at the forefront of the practice, allowing the flow of breath to guide us in the dance of movement and stillness.
